What is the size of the base pad required to set a hoist?

The base pad should be a poured concrete pad with a minimum thickness of 12”.  The size of the pad varies with the equipment used but some general guidelines are as follows:

Single 6000 lb;  11’ x 14 ‘
Twin 6000 lb; 16’ x 14’
Single 8000 lb;  12’ x 16 ‘
Twin 8000 lb; 18’ x 16’
