What are the power requirements of a Linden Comansa Tower Crane? 

The tower crane requires 480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 100 amp to 400 amp circuit breaker depending on the size of the crane.

What size crane do I need for my job? 

Each job is different and must be determined by size of lift needed and radius needed.  Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

How many operators do I need to run the tower crane? 

One or two operators are required depending on state and union requirements, and size of crane being used.  For example in Boston Massachusetts the LC 5211 City Class Crane requires only on operator because of it compact size and low maintenance requirements.

When is a Luffing jib Tower Crane used? 

Luffing jib cranes become essential in tight confines when the 360 degree swing of a conventional tower is not possible due to taller buildings or obstacles.

What are the foundation requirements for a tower crane? 

The LC 5211 city class cranes require only an 18’x18’ foot print at the base and can be as small 5’ x 5’ if a poured pad is used.  For the LCL 250 a poured pad can is used and the size is determined by the engineer taking height and weight into consideration.
