The all-new fully modular Scando 650 rack and pinion hoist offers improved performance, durability and lifting capacity, with lower energy consumption and reduced cost of operation.

Alimak has taken construction hoist technology to unprecedented levels with the introduction of the all-new Scando 650; a modular system that can adapt to different applications using relatively few modules and components.

Available in single or twin car configuration, the Scando 650 offers a payload of 7,100 lb/car and has a standard maximum lifting height of 825 ft, which can be increased on request.

Three FC frequency control motors drive the system through a high efficiency gearbox at speeds up to 180 ft/min.  The floor levels are stored in a collective system which maximizes machine efficiency stopping automatically at the chosen floor.  The counter-weightless design allows the hoist to be jumped to the next tie quickly, eliminating costly jumps and maximizing building coverage and safety.
