Julian Crane and Equipment was founded by Italian immigrant Louis Julian in 1938.  A family run business, second generation Robert Julian, pioneered hoisting in Boston. Currently run by its third generation of three brothers Chris, Mike and Greg, Julian Crane has expanded into tower cranes, mast climbing work platforms and common platforms for its hoists. Julian Crane is a Boston based company, and we have provided vertical access and hoisting for over eight decades. Welcoming its fourth generation Julian Crane prides itself on giving back to Boston and its surrounding communities.
